How do I import a job from LinkedIn or Indeed?

LinkedIn job pages often require login to display full content. If you paste the URL directly, the importer may return a limited summary because it cannot access the full posting without a session.

Best approach: open the job in your browser while logged in, expand the full description if it is truncated, then copy and paste the complete job text into the fallback field instead of using the URL.

Indeed jobs

Indeed URLs sometimes redirect through tracking wrappers. Copy the final URL from your browser address bar after the page loads, not the link from email or search results.

If import still fails, paste the full job description text. Indeed descriptions are usually available without login, so you can select and copy the full text from the page.

When text paste is faster

For any job board, text paste is the most reliable method:

Open the job in your browser.
Select and copy the full posting including responsibilities and requirements.
