What happens when I delete a job?

What is removed, what is recoverable, and how to avoid accidental deletion.

Deletion behavior

Deleting a job removes the job record and its linked drafting workflow from your dashboard.

If you already exported files locally, those files remain on your device.

Before you delete

Recommended quick checklist:

Download the latest PDF or DOCX if you want a local copy.
Copy any prep notes you want to reuse elsewhere.
Confirm you are deleting the correct role and company.

If you deleted by mistake

Create the job again from URL or pasted description and re-run tailoring. If you need help recreating a previous draft quickly, contact support with the job title and approximate date.
