Questions feel too generic. How do I get better tailored output?
Use stronger answer structure so prompts produce role-specific bullets, not generic rewrites.
Why generic answers create generic drafts
The system can only use evidence you provide. If answers are broad, the draft stays broad.
Short yes/no responses usually fail to provide enough detail for strong role-specific language.
Answer format that works
Use one compact structure per response:
- Context: what project, system, or workflow this came from.
- Action: what you personally did.
- Scope: team size, users, data volume, or business area.
- Outcome: measurable or observable result.
Example
Weak: "Used SQL for reporting."
Strong: "Built weekly SQL reporting across three product lines for finance and operations, reducing manual reconciliation time by about four hours per week."
Final check before export
Scan your top bullets and summary. If they still sound generic, re-tailor and strengthen only the weakest answers instead of rewriting everything.
