Can I edit my answers after tailoring is complete?
What to do when your answers need to change and how to apply corrections without re-tailoring.
Changing answers after the fact
Answers are used during the tailor pass to generate the new resume content. Once tailoring is complete, the answers themselves cannot be edited in place, but you have two options depending on what you need to change.
Option 1: edit the resume directly
If the tailored output is close but one bullet or the summary does not accurately reflect your experience, edit that section directly in the resume editor. This is the faster path and does not use a credit.
Option 2: re-tailor with better answers
If the tailored draft needs significant improvement because your answers were incomplete or vague, use Re-tailor. You will be shown the questions again and can provide stronger, more specific responses.
Re-tailor counts against your monthly quota. Use it when direct edits would not be sufficient to bring the output to the quality you need.
